Happy Birthday to The Doc! Today is the infamous Dr. Seuss’s Birthday, so we thought we’d share some ideas for celebrating & commemorating the American icon:
One Fish, Two Fish, these cupcakes look delish:
The Cat will want to come back for a few more of these tasty Hats:
Sam I am, feed your munchkins these Green Eggs and Ham:
Hop on Pop! Once you try these hand-painted “Things”, you won’t want to stop!:
And…finally, I think Brooke and her growing family should take a cue from this family and be these Seuss classics for Halloween this year
:
Now, I know Ben just celebrated his first Birthday Bee-day, and I told myself his next Birthday party wouldn’t be until he was a few years older…but now I am obsessed with throwing a Dr. Seuss party
What’s your favorite Dr. Seuss book? Do you have a favorite quote from The Doc? Are your kiddos gravitating towards any Seuss books yet? What a perfect excuse to curl up with your rugrats and a good Dr. Seuss read tonight!

I totally debated about doing a Dr. Suess theme for the boys first birthday, since I technically have a Thing 1 and a Thing 2. We went with a royal celebration of our Princes instead. I am definitely going the Suess route this year though, which I think will work out really well! The boys now know his books and have their favorites. Here is hoping that the Little Miss stays put long enough for her twin brothers to ring in their 2nd birthday. I am not sure if a Little Cindy Lou Who will fly as a Thing 3. Love the ideas can’t wait to try them out!
